Rotterdam ๐ณ๐ฑ
I been to Rotterdam after a week end in Bruxelles and I travel with the train 3 hours about Bruxelles -Antwerp and Rotterdam.
My arrive in Rotterdam has confused me its strange modern City with more design builders and simply amazing , big squares and more canals.
The older part of the Town its Delfshaven with its canals and the famous Windmill.
Going into the Westzeedijk we arrive down the highest sight of the city the Euromast Tower built for International exposition of Florida in 1960 ,the tower its highest 104 and has got a wonderful 360°view restaurant .
we walked along the Nieuwe Maas canal on the bank and arrive near the Erasmusbrug or Erasmus bridge long 808 meters.
In the other side the Bridge there is modern Rotterdam with skyline and shoppingmalls restaurants and cafes and skyline like De Brug the 4 floors building with a elevation of 133meters designed by JHK architects, and De Rotterdam multi functionality building composed three towers of 150 meters designed by Rem Koolhaas.
Return back in centre of Rotterdam and visited near the central station these sights Rotterdamse Schouwburg , situated in. place SCHOUUWBURGPLEIN near the TownHall in reonascimental architectonical style .
the eastern area of Amsterdam for me its the best here can visit the symbol of the city the Kijk Kubus or cubic house designed by Piet Blom are an unusual building between Blaak and the old port .
very close to here There are Witte Huis designed by W. Molenbroek are a complex of offices high 45 meters this was been the first skyline building in europa , the Laurenskerk the church of st.laurens built in the 1449-1525 and Schielandshuis its a typical dutch house with baroque details today its Rotterdam museum city.
Today Rotterdam offer more at their guests because the architectures and buildings especially skyline of city grew up very fast and more designer want to grew up their works in this city .
its also an important port on the Niuewe mass canals that bring the ships on the NORD SEA.
