Our tour begins from the Bus station when arrive all buses from ll Malta Island, in this circle square there a round fountain called Trijon Fountain, from here you are in city Centre in the main street Republic Street with more shops bars restaurants and clubs.
On the right side of the street you can find the St.John's Cavalier the embassy palace if cavalier of Malta and st.James Cavalier today the National Arts Centre, from here you can walk by the sea border and see amazing view of Sliema and st Julians cities in the other side of the Sea, in the final part of the city you find the Fort St.Elmo today war museum ,situated at the very end of Republic street ,built in 1552 the fortifications managed to resist the onslaught of the Turkish attacks during the great Siege of 1565 for a whole month.
Return down the republic street and the left side you can find the Casa Rocca Piccola this 16th century palace property of Don Pietro la Rocca a knight of Malta ,the beautiful rooms contain exquisite furniture ,paintings silver and hundreds of other items, not far form here the St John Square where is situated St. John Co-Cathedral its one the greatest artistic treasures of the Maltese islands ,the facade of this building is very austere ,built in typical architectural manierist style of late 16th century, by the architect from Malta Girolamo Cassar,the church possesses two paintings by the famous Michelangelo Marisa known as Caravaggio at the oratory we can admire the famous painting of The beheading of St.john one of the greatest masterpieces kin the history of art.
near the cost you can visit the Upper Barakka Garden this garden present a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and of the three cities ,where most of the knights dwelled before Valletta was built close find the Auberge de Castle,built in XVI Century was built for the st.john knights today it s the symbol of the City very wonderful decorated .
we take a Barakka lift and going down to the throat where its located a new area called Valletta Waterfront from here leaving and arriving the mediterranean Cruise like Mac Costa Crociera and more ,here you can do shopping drink a cocktail in more bars and eating good fish in the resuarants.
