Reykjavik is the capital Iceland , and the largest city of the island , is located in southwestern Iceland in the Faxafloi Bay .
When arrive from air you look down and see the volcanic and glacier land its so nice and hot welcome to Iceland it like to be in a fantasy Land-
The arrive is Keflavik Airport situated about 40 km from the city center ,you can take a bus shuttle and get in town ,the most important flight that connect Europe and USA to Iceland its (ICELANDAIR), I take the flight from Stockholm to Keflavik , but today you can go to Iceland with low cost flights (icelandexpress o Wowair)
In Reykjavik you can visit the highest Church in Iceland Hallgrimskirkja this is visible from almost anywhere in the city ,the tower offers a great 360° view of the City.
other important sights are Sòlfar or Sunvoyage is a sculpture found on a small headland at SAEBRAUT.
Höfdi House built 1909 is the small famous house all over the World after the 1986 summit meeting of president Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev effectively marked the end of the Cold War.
the new Reyakjav offers Harpa Concert Hall is a relatively new structure that officially opened on may 4th in 2011.
visit also Reykjavik art Museum of Asmundarsson with sculptures of the artist Asmundrsson,
